We were concerned that the sole would pick up dirt but it has not been a problem. It was a perfect fit and he likes it so much he wants me to order him another pair. Heres the deal! Normally I dont buy any type of clothing online. Shoes shirts pants anything! But I own Clarks and know they make a quality product so I went for it. Bought two pairs the Clarks Mens Catstail Slip-On and the Clarks Mens Wildcats Slip-On and they both fit great! I am really pleased price was great felt like I got two for the price of one. The shoe is a little more light brown (tan) than it appears in the picture. Normally with my Clarks in the past no break in time is required but with this shoe it took wearing it everyday for two weeks to break it in. No problems with size or foot but the top edges around the ankles were very stiff and it rubbed small blisters below the ankle bone and on the high part of the heel. After two weeks the leather loosened up and the shoe is very comfortable and the blisters went away. The rubber sole is a little different than the other Clarks I have owned and makes it a little slippery on flat wet concrete floors so beware. I am sure once the slickness of the new sole wears off that will get better. The sole resembles more of a tire tread look and feel. Overall a comfortable shoe once you break it in.
