Clarks shoes have always been good to me. I always felt durability and good looks were all that I was looking for in a shoe until I purchased this Saranac Lace in Tan. Ultimate comfort is the best that I can describe this wonderful shoe. I find it great for long and casual walking. Good comfortable footware is very important to me and when it is coupled with style the end product is this incredible shoe. Ive never felt more comfortable in footware before this shoe. This shoe is both light and supportive with extremely low foot fatuge. Fyi use a shoe horn to increase the ease of slipping on the shoe and tuck in those laces because this shoe fits and feels so secure! I bought this shoe looking for a leisure/casual boat shoe. Ive bought Sperrys for years and they continuously wear out. I wanted to try something new. So I reluctantly bought these. Ive never loved Clarks thin soles but tried these anyway as they looked very good. However when I slipped them on in the store I fell in love. These are the most comfortable shoes Ive ever owned. Ive worn them daily for the past month and I am going to buy another pair or two just in case they stop making them. They are half the weight of my old Sperrys much more comfortable and have just as good traction in wet conditions. Plus they look a lot better. Do not hesitate to buy these shoes. My husband doesn't "love" the way these shoes look, but says they are the most comfortable shoe he's ever worn. He's willing to sacrifice a bit of style for the comfort. I think they look very nice with jeans (we got the blue). Our seller was quicker on the shipping than purchased, even around hectic Christmas shipping.
