It is a better pair of Clarks than many I have seen. The black leather has a perfect finish which is not dry looking and is difficult to scratch or mar. The detailing is also finely executed giving the shoe has a very finished look while remaining extremely comfortable. Clarks has done it again...great shoe very well made and my husband made the approval that they werent feminine like a lot of other shoes sold nowdays...casual and comfortable Careful manufacture of the product with quality materials. Very confortable shoes which keeps feet dry and warm. With no doubt Ill repeat this brand. I really like this shoe. It very comfortable just as I have come to expect from Clarks products. Ive always had a couple-week break in period with every Clarks shoe Ive bought but this one was longer perhaps a month or more. It gave me blisters on my heel regularly during this time so I almost sent it back but Im glad I stuck with it. Now its perfect. Im rather clumsy so Ive scraped the leather more than once on cement stairs and such and Im happy to report that this one is much more resilient than previous leather shoes Ive had. Within a couple days the scratches and scuffs nearly vanish. I have to say Im quite disappointed in the narrow width of these so-called medium width shoes. I found that these run very narrow and with the very stiff leather of the shoe are painful for a medium width foot. Will be returning them for a refund. Very sloppy design work on Clarks part. good quality good price water proof comfortable all perfect. classic style and I like it. shoes are always important for you! Once you can get these shoes on they are very comfortable. However the opening is small which makes it very difficult to put on the shoes especially for someone with a high instep. I should have known better than to buy shoes online. The sole is mixture of Leather and rubber which is not suiting my foot. (Specially this model)May be its okay with others.The show fits perfectly and is very comfortable. The sole is a little stiffer than I would like but overall I like the shoe and would purchase another pair.
