Clarks Desert Boots were my fav back in my high school days and these look exactly as I remember they do look great with jeans and casual wear. The soles are stiff though-they seem much thicker than I remember and have little give to them. I am slowly breaking them in started out with an hour a day and two weeks later Im about at 2 hours. They are not painful to wear longer but they are not comfortable either. If I knew the amount of work it would be I would not buy them and I dont think they will ever be a all day shoe These shoes have so much room in the toe box due to the design that they are a wonder. My feet adore these shoes. I can wear them all day and be on my feet all day without any ill effects. I have them in both colors. They felt as though they were an old and worn pair from the beginning the kind that feel wonderful but look horrid the ones that you love to be in but should probably only be worn when no one will see you. The sole of these cushions the shock of walking so that they are easy on the knees too. scuffs easily I got the Beeswax color and i bought them from endless because they had a coupon.I wear a size 8.5 sometimes 9 and I bought the size 8 and 8.5 because i know clarks run big.I tried the 8.5 on walked and could see the toe part bending like it was going to form a crease which means that they were a tad bigtried on the 8 and it fit and felt so cozy and good like they were making love to my foot.so I kept the size 8.now i have to figure out how to walk without scuffing my beautiful shoes and keep my distance from other people shoes.. i dont want to have to hurt anyone for stepping on my clarks lol I really missed the Clarks Treks shoes that I bought 30 years ago. I am an addict of Clark clogs and now am enjoying again my introduction to Clarks. The only small issue is the color. They used to be a dark brown leather. Now they are lighter with a waxy look. That may be a current fashion. They are still comfortable and generous sized. I wear 8 1/2 to 9 and the 8 1/2 is generous but not too sloppy but a caution. Quick delivery through my Amazon purchase and great price. Didnt realize Clarks still made these but boy am I glad they do! I had a pair back in the 70s or 80s and loved em then...and I like em even more now! Theyre super comfortable extremely quiet and very stylish. They do however run long so much so that I had to order a full size down. I trust these shoes will be one of my favs for years to come. :)

My wife loves this pair she bought. Having read they r big for sizing, she bought size 7M but wears 7.5 usually. It fits like a glove, but very comfortable, as the front is nice. Only very thin socks then. Overall, they look like becoming her favourite shoes. One more, the SAND pair is darker than in pics. THAT looks more beige, but it really is sand.Amazon is awesome in delivery. Very fast for international orders!! Many thumbs up !
